"Welcome to the dark side, spray if you dare!"

Parfums Quartana Wolfsbane is one of the darkest, dirtiest, animalic fragrances I have ever smelled, it takes every filthy note you can think of Patchouli, Vetiver, Cumin and Castoreum and makes it a force to be reckoned with.

The only bright spots to this fragrance are the Angelica and Benzoin, even Angelica to a point can be ripe and putrid, the benzoin is slightly sweet and milky, it alleviates the dirtiness to a degree.

I get a herbal, moist, aromatic, with a touch of green angelica, that penetrates a musty, grassy, murky, grounded, patchouli, and a skanky, over the top, bold cumin.

Then a black, spiced, brown colored, bleak, dank vetiver, rounds out a slightly sweet, rich, with a touch of vanilla, and a pungent, musky, animalic, leather tinged castoreum,

I get the Angelica, Cumin, Castoreum, Vetiver, Benzoin and Patchouli, it opens up with a dirty, earthy patchouli, and a pungent herbal angelica, the patchouli is strong, the angelica is mild.

After thirty minutes the patchouli dissipates, the angelica softens, in comes a ripe, aromatic cumin, and a smoky, grassy vetiver, the cumin is strong, the vetiver is soft.

After four hours the angelica and vetiver dissipate, the cumin softens, in comes a creamy, nutty benzoin, and a murky, thick castoreum, the benzoin is mild, the castoreum is strong.

Wolfsbane is a very, dark, dramatic, a touch of spiciness, subtle woodiness, and white floral nuances, unisex, it leans more masculine, Oriental fragrance.

This would be perfect for the Fall and Winter, I get average projection and good longevity, excellent fragrance Joseph Quartana, if you like them dark and dirty, 4/5 Stars.
