As a perfumer, Pierre-Constantin Gueros' had the chance to work in Munich, New York City, Paris, and Dubai and each of these experiences changed him deeply. The first olfactive impressions and sourvenirs date back to his childhood in his father's atelier, who was at that time a fashion designers. The incredible leathers and furs his father used in his atelier later inspired Pierre-Constantin to create rich, textural fragrances. In search of constant balance and harmony, outside of his hectic and exciting professional life, Pierre-Constantin likes enjoying the simpler things in life: rice pudding, a tagine, sweet peas and peonies, a snowy day, a night in the desert, a white coffee in Beirut, or an evening along the Seine! Some of Pierre-Constantin's notable fragrances include: Odin New York '02 Owari', Carolina Herrera 'Oud Couture', Ferrari 'Amber Essence', and Bill Blass 'Couture 1'

COMMENTARY: Belladonna is a sweet smelling poison with a rich tradition in Italy going back to ancient times when Livia used it to poison Emperor Augustus. Literally translating to ‘beautiful woman’, medieval Italian women would put droplets into their eyes to dilate their pupils as they believed this made them appear more attractive; this would cause hallucinations, or in wiccan terms, a "flying spell". It is often equated with aggressive female sexuality and was used by Northern Italian witches (streghe) to place seduction spells on men. Our Belladonna lures you in and then burns you with her hellfire, thanks to the accord, styrax pyrogene.
