BEAUT'AIR : Backstory
Beaut'Air, short for 'Beautiful' and 'Air', renders the gentle, radiant bliss of a full day of bed rest : 10am morning sunshine beaming through an optimistic blue sky, fresh white sheets billow in a linden and rose-tinged breeze, easing one into a place of tranquil equilibrium.

The perfumes of Les Potions D'Entéléchie invoke the Aristotelian concept of entelechy - the complete and full potential of one's existence through combinations of sacred essential oils previously reserved for the priest/priestess class of the ancient world, in order to access internal sources of primordial vitality.

“Clouds of fresh laundry musks hanging out on the clothesline under a warm Spring sun after being washed with rose soap, infused with the green-honeyed sweetness of linden blossoms. A hint of sweetness from the rose also shows with its fruity nectar that is both tame, and somehow slightly alluring without verging into a sticky candied rose aroma. It's a storybook affair, a simpler life, and a request to slow down in a chaotic world…

Beaut'Air has a fitting name. It's a beautifully fresh ozonic scent that harnesses upon the vivid memory of freshly washed laundry, which is a comforting smell to me, reminding me of the plush softness of fabric touching your skin, and of greenery as far as the eye can see, with the sunny kiss of Spring abounding in all its majesty.

What really makes me love Beaut'Air is the soapy rose. Roses just smell like Spring to me, and they speak of the Earth's renewal after a barren winter. I don't believe I have smelled a laundry musk scent kissed by a vaguely sweet rose before, and I know I haven't experienced one laced with linden, so maybe that is why I am enchanted by this scent. Beaut'Air is something new to me, and it doesn't vanish faster than a snowflake falling in the southern US.
