Poppy Soma began with my fascination with poison flowers and with the way certain blooms seem to announce transformation in advance. The poppy felt different from the start: not just beautiful, but charged — as though it already contained altered consciousness, danger, pleasure, and return.
What I wanted was not a merely seductive floral. I wanted a fragrance that moved like sacred union: heat becoming illumination, smoke becoming atmosphere, sensuality becoming initiation. That is why Poppy Soma has always felt lunar to me — not passive or distant, but fertile, hypnotic, tidal, and internally lit.
